Privacy policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
YumoKit is built so that your files never have to leave your device. This page explains, in plain words, what little information the site does handle.
Your files stay on your device
Every tool processes files inside your browser. The images, PDFs, videos, audio and text you work with are not uploaded to our servers, and we cannot see them.
Anonymous usage statistics
To learn which tools are useful, we count page views. A count records the page opened, the country (worked out from the IP address at that moment), the interface language, whether a phone or a computer was used, and the site you arrived from. The IP address itself is not stored. To count each visitor once per day we use a one-way code that is deleted when the day ends. No advertising or tracking cookies are involved. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal, your visits are not counted.
IP lookup and IP check
When you use these two tools, the address you look up and the address you connect from are recorded together with the result, so the tools can be kept accurate and improved. To check an address we may also ask specialised IP reputation services about it. These records are kept for up to 13 months and are not sold. The map is loaded from OpenStreetMap. When you check your own address, your browser also contacts a few public services (for example Cloudflare) to see which address they receive and whether WebRTC reveals another one; your browser fingerprint is calculated on your device and is not uploaded. The network and privacy checks (exit IP, leak tests, latency, speed, DNS and site access) connect from your browser directly to the public services being tested. For the DNS leak test, our name server briefly sees which DNS servers look up the test names; this is kept in memory for ten minutes and not stored.
What is stored in your browser
Your language choice is remembered in a cookie and in local storage, and the list of recently used tools is kept in local storage. Both stay on your device; you can remove them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Server logs
Like most websites, our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time and the page requested) for security and troubleshooting. They are deleted automatically after about two weeks.
Third parties
We do not sell or share personal data. The site currently shows no advertising. If advertising or other outside services are added in future, this page will be updated first. Links to other websites are covered by those sites' own policies.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with its date.
